From the 9th to the 13th March 2020, Manchester will be hosting Digital City Festival, a celebration of the booming digital economy in the North and beyond, and an opportunity for organisations to connect, innovate and collaborate.
To kick-off the five days of activity, influential local figures, event supporters and press will come together to hear about ambitions for Digital City Festival week. Guests will hear from leading speakers and enjoy a selection of tea, coffee and pastries.

Burnham will share Greater Manchester’s ambitions to be a top five leading European digital city-region, recognised globally for its innovation and talent pipeline and strong infrastructure. A city-region with an ongoing commitment to taking an open, collaborative and connected approach to delivering that ambition, leveraging world-class expertise in areas like cyber security, health, and manufacturing, to attract further investment and build the conditions for sustainable growth.
Burnham said: “It’s fantastic that Manchester has been chosen to host the first Digital City Festival. Events of this kind are key to delivering our ambition to be recognised as a world-leading digital city region and more importantly will unite the digital sector, create new partnerships and celebrate the people, businesses and organisation so instrumental to growing our influence on the world stage.”
